Plan it
with Claude.

The NOTANOTR connector gives your own Claude your training, food, weight and recovery from the app. Claude reads the file, asks what it still needs, and sends you a program, a meal plan, targets and notes. Every one of them waits in NOTANOTR until you apply it.

01 · What it does

NOTANOTR is an iPhone app for people who already train and track. The connector lets Claude work with what you logged instead of what you remember: every set, every gram, every weigh-in, this week's average against last week's.

Claude reads through a code you make in the app. Whatever it proposes lands in NOTANOTR on Today, under Review. You read it and apply it, or you don't. Claude cannot change your file on its own.

02 · What you need

  • The NOTANOTR app on your iPhone, with an account. You sign in with Apple, in the app.
  • A Claude account, on any plan.
  • A browser, once. Claude adds connectors on the web and in its desktop app: in your phone's browser when you start from NOTANOTR, or on a computer. The connector is then in the Claude app on your phone too, after your next sign-in there.

03 · Connect

From the app, the quickest way

  1. 01Pick Claude. In the first run the app asks who builds your plan with you. Pick Claude and sign in with Apple, once.
  2. 02Make the code. Face ID, and the app makes a code called My Claude that may look and propose and lasts until you revoke it. It is copied for you.
  3. 03Open Claude. Your browser opens Claude with the NOTANOTR connector already filled in: the name and the address. Click Add, then Connect.
  4. 04Paste the code. A NOTANOTR page opens and asks for the code. Paste it and connect. Claude asks for it once.
  5. 05Send the first message. Back in the app, it says Claude is connected and has your first message ready. Open Claude, send it, and answer what Claude asks.

From Claude's directory

Make a code in the app first: the You tab, then Claude & ChatGPT, then New code. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, search for NOTANOTR and click Connect. The same NOTANOTR page asks for the code. If the search finds nothing yet, the listing has not reached your Claude; add it by hand instead.

By hand

With a code from the app: in Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Name it NOTANOTR, paste the address below, click Add, then Connect, and type the code on the page that opens. The button fills in the name and the address for you.

Open Claude with it filled in

Then, in a chat: open the + menu, then Connectors, and switch NOTANOTR on. What a code carries, how long it lasts and how to give one to a coach is on the connect page.

04 · What Claude may, and may not

Claude may

  • Read your training, food, weight and measurements, targets, sleep and recovery, habits and notes.
  • Propose a whole program with its schedule, on fixed weekdays or a rhythm like 2 on, 1 off.
  • Propose a meal plan for training days and rest days, in grams, with alternatives.
  • Propose your calorie and macro targets.
  • Propose one change to an exercise, or a note the coach in the app reads too: an injury, a movement you avoid, a preference.

Claude may not

  • Change anything without you. Every proposal waits in the app until you apply it.
  • Log food, a weigh-in or a session for you.
  • Change a dose or a compound. There is no tool for it.
  • Read blood work, your protocol or photo dates, unless you switched that item on for this code. Never the photos themselves, and never your chats with the coach in the app.

A code that may only look lets Claude read and nothing more. Which items a code carries is decided in the app, when you make it, and never widened afterwards.

05 · What to ask

Paste one into a chat with NOTANOTR switched on.

Set me upOpen in Claude
Set me up in NOTANOTR. Read my file first, then ask me what you still need: the split I like, my coach's plan if I have one, what I eat on a normal day, my recovery and my rules. Then send me a program, my targets, a meal plan and my rules to apply.

The message the app hands you after connecting.

Build my programOpen in Claude
Build my training program in NOTANOTR. I train 4 days a week, 60 minutes a session. Read my file first, then ask me what you still need: the split I like, my equipment, and anything I work around. Send the whole program, every day with its exercises, sets, reps, RIR and rest, on my weekdays or as a rotation, for me to apply in the app.

Change the days and minutes to yours.

Weekly reviewOpen in Claude
Review the last 7 days of my training and eating in NOTANOTR: my weight trend, my food against my targets, my sessions and my lifts. Use the numbers as they come back from the app and don't recompute them, and say when one is missing. Keep it short and specific. If one thing should change, propose it for me to apply.

Sunday, after the weigh-in.

Record my rulesOpen in Claude
Record my rules in NOTANOTR. Read my file first. Then ask me, one thing at a time, about the constraints and preferences my plan should keep: injuries and movements I avoid, the days and times I train, my equipment, and anything about food. Send each one as its own note, in my words, for me to apply in the app.

The coach in the app reads the same notes.

06 · When a proposal arrives

Open NOTANOTR. Today shows what Claude sent, under Review: the program as a week, the targets, the meal plan, the notes. Apply all, open one and apply it on its own, or dismiss it. The app checks each one the way it checks its own coach's changes before anything in your file moves.

A proposal you leave alone expires after 14 days. A newer program or meal plan from the same connection replaces the one still waiting.

07 · After the first week

Setting up with Claude is free for the first seven days of your NOTANOTR account. After that, the connection works while your membership is active. Without one, Claude gets a plain answer that the membership is needed, and it reads and proposes nothing until the membership is back. The membership starts in the app.

08 · Privacy, in short

  • Claude reads the encrypted copy of your file through our relay, with your code. Nothing else leaves your phone for it.
  • What Claude reads goes to Anthropic, under your own agreement with them. We see the calls Claude makes to NOTANOTR, never your chat.
  • A proposal is kept with us until you act on it, 14 days at most while it is open, and deleted 90 days after that.
  • A log in the app shows what was read and when, not what it said. It is kept 90 days.
  • Revoke the code in the app and the next call is refused. Revoking cannot un-read what was already read.

All of it, in full: privacy policy, section 12.

09 · Help

The code is refused
Capitals do not matter and the hyphen is optional. A code that was revoked or ran out cannot connect again: make a new one in the app.
Claude asks you to reconnect
The code behind the connection was revoked or ran out. Make a new code in the app and connect again.
Claude says the membership is needed
The free set-up week of your account is over. The membership starts in the app, and the connection works again.
Nothing arrives in the app
Claude only proposes with a code that may look and propose. Check the code on the You tab, and ask Claude to send the proposal.

Anything else: hello@notanotr.com. Say what you tried and what Claude showed. Never send your code, and leave health details out: a person reads the mail.
