Show prep

A contest prep app: every week counts toward your show date.

NOTANOTR is an iPhone app for show prep, launching soon, that counts every week toward your show date, lines up check-in photos in six poses against four and twelve weeks back, and reads your weight trend, food, training and sleep before it proposes one change every Sunday.

The short answer

A prep coach, an app, or both.

An online prep coach reads the check-in form you fill in, once a week, for a fee each coach sets. NOTANOTR reads every weigh-in, meal, set, supplement and blood draw you logged, any time you ask, for USD 39.99 a month or USD 299 a year. Plenty of competitors will want both: your coach can read the same file with a code you make.

Your prep coach

An online prep coach

Reads your check-in form at check-in, once a week, and answers in a message. The fee is set by each coach.

Honest limits

What NOTANOTR does not do.

  • It does not cut your floorThe coach cannot lower your calorie floor. Only you can, for the last weeks, and those weeks cost sleep, training and mood, so a doctor or an experienced prep coach should know.
  • No AndroidiPhone only, for now.
  • Not for beginnersIt reads what you already log. It does not teach you how to train or how to count food.
  • Not in the App Store yetIt launches soon. Leave an address on the front page and we tell you when it is live.

FAQ

Questions lifters ask before they switch.

Can my prep coach see my data?

Only what your code allows, and only until it ends. Blood work, supplements and photo dates are off unless you switch them on for that code.

Which poses does it use?

Front, side and back, relaxed. If you compete, front and back double biceps and abs and thigh, behind one switch. Each pose has a drawn guide, and your last photo shows as a ghost.

Does it lower my calories for the last weeks?

Only if you switch a lower floor on yourself. The coach cannot, and the lower floor ends on the show date.

Does it tell me what to take?

No. You log the supplements you already take, and the amount is yours to set. It lines your blood work up with them and writes the question for your next appointment.

How much does it cost?

USD 39.99 a month or USD 299 a year, with 7 days free (CHF 39.95 or CHF 299 in Switzerland, EUR 39.99 or EUR 299 where the App Store charges in euros).
