MacroFactor
Expenditure estimated from intake and the weight trend, with a weekly check-in that adjusts your targets.
Compared
NOTANOTR is an iPhone app, launching soon, that measures your maintenance every week from what you eat and what the scale does, and reads every set, your sleep and your blood work in the same file, with one change every Sunday.
The short answer
MacroFactor's nutrition app is built around an expenditure estimate that follows your intake and your weight trend. For training there is MacroFactor Workouts, a second app with its own subscription. NOTANOTR keeps food and training in one file and reads them together.

Two apps that sync body metrics, scale weight and progress photos. Their site says nutrition and training share no coaching at launch.
Food, every set, weight, sleep and blood work in one app. The Sunday check-in proposes one change, and it can be about sleep rather than food.

As their own sites describe them, read on 15 October 2026: macrofactor.com, macrofactor.com/workouts, MacroFactor help centre, MacroFactor annual report 2026, MacroFactor on the App Store. “Not listed” means we did not find it there, not that it cannot exist.
Honest limits
No, it is its own. It re-measures your maintenance every week from what you ate and what the scale did, and the Sunday check-in proposes one change with the number behind it. We do not claim it matches MacroFactor’s algorithm.
It logs every set, tracks e1RM per lift, flags a stall and counts weekly sets for 13 muscles against the range your plan aims for. Your coach can send a program, and Claude or ChatGPT can propose one through the connector. Every proposal waits in the app until you apply it.
Because a stall, a short night and a calorie cut often belong to the same week. When food, sets and sleep sit in one file, the weekly change can say which of them to fix.
Yes. Photograph a plate, a menu or a label, or type what you ate the way you would say it. It logs to the gram and shows the portion it assumed, so you can correct it.
